"Der Mittagskogel bei Villach" - 1917 ("The Mittagskogel near Villach")
After Egon Schiele. Provenance: small edition printed in Vienna by the State Print Office of Austria (Staatsdruckerei Österreich) on high quality paper at the end of the 1940s / beginning of the 1950s.
Signed and dated on the plate.
From a private collection, East of France.
The print, which demonstrate Schiele's distinctive style, is well preserved after all these years. Corners and the left edge are very slightly bent, but nothing serious. Please see pictures for more details about its exact condition.
It hasn't ever been framed; it has been stored and not exposed to light throughout the 70 years since it was printed.
This print is very hard to find as the majority are in institutions or in collections.
